(原标题:Grace Ke: There's a Sea of Talents in China)
By Harry Wu, 21st Century Business Herald, SFC
The past ten years since the James Dyson Award entered China have also been a decade of rapid development in China's science and technology innovation.
“The innovation level in China is undeniable,” Grace Ke, Regional Head of James Dyson Foundation APAC, said in an interview with SFC recently in Shanghai.
“There's a sea of talents in China,” she added. China boasts numerous top universities, which cultivate outstanding individuals, some of whom eventually become business leaders in China or globally. Beyond these top universities, Dyson also aims to support universities that may not have as abundant resources but with leading talents.
Grace Ke found that China has made significant efforts to promote innovation, such as actively promoting the popularization of artificial intelligence courses in primary schools. Such speed and foresight are admirable. Companies are also willing to support STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education to inspire a new generation of inventors and help stimulate an innovative ecosystem and atmosphere across society.
